Last two class-RCA JACK

Class Communication and Technology today is the most faster class finished i ever had. After Miss Azura finished the class, she told us how and what to do on our seminar. In the end i know why the class will end so fast already. But luckily also because that day I'm so tired. Haha... There is nothing special for this class.^@^

RCA JACK
------------
An RCA Jack or RCA Plug is a connector commonly used to connect various components in a audio-video system or simple analog transmission. It is used for analog and coaxial digital audio and composite and component video connections.

Tree topology and Mesh topology

This week we got quizzzzzzz..................wuwuwu......i guess my result must below than 8~~~haizzz...sad... Recently the CT study some i already studied in form 6. Haha!!!

Tree Topology

A tree topology combines characteristics of linear bus and star topologies. It consists of groups of star-configured workstations connected to a linear bus backbone cable (See fig. 4). Tree topologies allow for the expansion of an existing network, and enable schools to configure a network to meet their needs.

Advantages of a Tree Topology

* Point-to-point wiring for individual segments.
* Supported by several hardware and software venders.

Disadvantages of a Tree Topology

* Overall length of each segment is limited by the type of cabling used.
* If the backbone line breaks, the entire segment goes down.
* More difficult to configure and wire than other topologies.

Mesh Topology
A type of network setup where each of the computers and network devices are interconnected with one another, allowing for most transmissions to be distributed, even if one of the connections go down. This type of topology is not commonly used for most computer networks as it is difficult and expensive to have redundant connection to every computer. However, this type of topology is commonly used for wireless networks. Below is a visual example of a simple computer setup on a network using a mesh topology.

E- Commerce

This week is the 1st week after i came back from holiday. For this whole month, the night class will begin on 2030. Bwahaha.... 1st at all, the most impression is the cigarette smell came from one guy... And because of it my friend change her place from my right hand side to my left even the chair is broken.

After that, Miss Azura told us to bring the file next week to check. After Miss Azura told us, Silvia already know next week will got quiz. And very sorry, cause our class is very noisy and make Miss Azura angry...

B2B(Business to Business)
Internet-based business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce is conducted through industry-sponsored marketplaces and through private exchanges set up by large companies for their suppliers and customers. Of course, companies also sell to business customers through their own Web sites.

Business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce is significantly different from business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce. While B2C merchants sell on a first-come, first-served basis, most B2B commerce is done through negotiated contracts that allow the seller to anticipate and plan for how much the buyer will purchase. In some cases B2B is not so much a matter of generating revenue as it is a matter of making connections with business partners.

B2C(Business to Consumer)

B2C (Business-to-Consumer) is basically a concept of online marketing and distributing of products and services over the Internet. It is a natural progression for many retailers or marketer who sells directly to the consumer. The general idea is, if you could reach more customers, service them better, make more sales while spending less to do it, that would the formula of success for implementing a B2C e-commerce infrastructure.

For the consumer, it is relatively easy to appreciate the importance of e-commerce. Why waste time fighting the very real crowds in supermarkets, when, from the comfort of home, one can shop on-line at any time in virtual Internet shopping malls, and have the goods delivered home directly

C2C(Consumer to Consumer)
C2C (Consumer to Consumer)E-Commerce has also emerged that allows unknown, un-trusted parties to sell goods and services to one-another. An excellent example of this is found at Ebay, where consumers sell their goods and services to other consumers. To accommodate this activity, several technologies have emerged. Firstly, Ebay allows all sellers and buyers to rate one another. In this manner, future prospective purchasers may see that a particular seller has sold to more than 2,000 customers - all of whom rate the seller as excellent. In another example, a prospective purchaser may see a seller who has previously sold only 4 times and all 4 rate the seller poorly. This type of information is helpful. Another technology that has emerged to support C2C activities is that of the payment intermediary. Pay Pal is a good example of this. Instead of purchasing items directly from an unknown, un-trusted seller, the buyer can instead send the money to Pay Pal. From there, Pay Pal notifies the seller that they will hold the money for them until the goods have been shipped and accepted by the buyer.

Shock and disappointed

Today, i was shock. My friend told me that he got liver cancer and just can live for half year only. After he told my he didn't reply me again. He is a very nice person, he treat me very good even we didn't meet before. When i heard what he told me, i felt this world is unfair. Why such a nice person die in young age??? Why the bad guy can live for long time??? I wish, and i only wish for now is i want him to be healthy again. He is a special person for me.

MYEG, MYRilek, Windows vs MAC

22/7/09

Today my friend didn't come to class. So bored but fortunately also got others classmate accompany me. Then today have to pass up our assignment~~~And very rush today. We got to finish 80 pages slide show... Below is the information of MYEG, MYRILEK and application of Window and Mac.

MYEG

My E.G. Services Berhad and its Group of companies is principally engaged in the business of development and implementation of Electronic Government (E-Government) services and the provision of other related services for the E-Government Initiative as well as investment holding.

MY E.G. Services Bhd ("MYEG") was incorporated in Malaysia as a private limited company on 17 February 2000 as I.T. Marvel Sdn Bhd. Subsequently, the Company changed its name to My E.G. Dot Com Sdn Bhd before assuming the present name on 13 October 2001. On 13 April 2005, the Company changed its status to a public company and assumed its present name, My E.G. Services Berhad, in conjunction with its listing on the MESDAQ Market.

MYEG began by developing online government transactional services for the Malaysian community through its Electronic Government (E-Government) Initiatives. MYEG focuses on delivering improvements in the Government internal operations and in the delivery of services to the consumers. The success of its online transactional services has spurred MYEG to expand its operations and undertake more Government projects.

In June 2004, MYEG acquired Gale Vector Sdn Bhd ("GVSB"), which provides software solutions and maintenance services to clients. The acquisition of GVSB enables the Company to strengthen its core technical expertise and contribute to the ongoing development of MYEG Enterprise Service Platform.

The Group has also expanded its operations into E-Insurance solutions and other insurance-related services through its other subsidiary, PDX.net Sdn Bhd ("PNSB"). PNSB commenced operations on 1 January 2005 and currently provides electronic computer linkages, through its software applications and Internet technologies, between insurance companies and JPJ on the issuance of E-Cover Notes.

MYEG together with its group of Companies serves as a community-based information and services centre for the public to access information, execute transactions and interact with the government and government-related institutions.

WINDOWS vs MAC

Typography - Mac's support of typography is a result of years and years involvement with the pre-press industry. Type-styles rendered with a Mac just plain transfer better when submitted to a service bureau. Mac is the clear winner here.

Video Subsystem - Windows open architecture and PCI bus allow a wide non-saturated video subsystem. Video cards are made which exceed 6 Gigaflops of geometric rendering. Mac, though PCI, has a severely bottle-necked video subsystem so if you're into advanced 3-D rendering, Windows is the clear winner here.

Postscript Support - Mac natively supports both postscipt and PDF formats making them the clear winning here. Again, if you're into pre-press, Mac makes a lot of sense.

Raw Speed - Windows PCs have a serious edge here. Where time is money, processor speed can be very important. Regardless of how hard Mac advertising attempts to claim that the slower clock speed Macs are really just as fast as a PC, it just ain't so and proven so by every bench test out there. If you have the "need for speed" in gaming, software development, 3D rendering and other applications, Windows is the clear winner here.

Color Matching - Apple is the only OS and hardware which supports Colorsync™, the industry standard for "what you see is what you get" color matching. If you want your advertising copy of an egg to come out of the press with the same yellow you saw on the screen, Mac is for you.

Web Design - Now this will be a hot one. In my opinion the clear choice here is Windows. I say this for two reasons.

  • First, 95% of the people surfing the Web use Windows on PCs. If you want to be able to design in an atmosphere where you see pretty much what that 95% sees, then Windows just plain makes sense.

  • Secondly, though many technologies are available for the Mac, Windows technology isn't and much of the Web uses this technology. If you want to take advantage of .NET technology or ASP, it's just way easier to implement from a Windows platform.

Ease of Use - I give Mac the edge here, though the difference is pretty small with the release of Windows XP. Windows binary Plug-in-Play is no longer "Plug-n-Pray" and though technologically superior to Mac doesn't get the job done as nicely. By using nearly draconian messures and monopolistic threats, Apple has been able to maintain tight control over makers of third party hardware. What this means to you is an easier to use system, but with much less choice in add-ons.

Software Availability - Though many might argue that anything you might need is available for Mac, and though almost all generic task software is, industry specific software is not. For example, if you own.. say a lawnmower repair shop, you might want software written exclusively to run lawn mower repair shops. You just won't find it on the shelf or by mail order for the Mac, while you have several to choose from for Windows, maybe even for free or cheap as shareware downloads.
